A new game has begun in the Te Pastte household. It started as an alternative to morning nap, a way to fight the grumpies that were accompanying the lack of sleeping time. It has become, however, the best time any toddler has ever had. I have no idea what the allure is to Mia's crib. Since the kids are only allowed binkies in the crib, I realize that holds some of the appeal but it can't be the only reason. Ben would spend most of his day there if we'd allow it.
They fail around in some sort of wrestling game, playing and squealing and tickling each other. Mia will always ask to get out first, and B will stay and sing for a while before he decides he is also finished. They happily hand over the binkies and move on to something new.
