Blue

Yes, I know. You don't have to remind me how long it's been since we've actually teamed up. (For the record, we team up all the time. The photography stuff just isn't involved!) We knew that undertaking a creative endeavor during the school year would be risky and get set aside for things like math papers, fiction stories, bedtime routines and dishes. It was inevitable.

But, let's put all that behind us. We're jumping back on the wagon and cutting ourselves some slack. Here's our week of "blue" pictures. Ben has had quite a few blue moments lately. He'd have far fewer if he'd just leave the darn cat alone! While the puncture marks near his eye aren't quite visible here, you can see his upper lip and below his nose have some fresh wounds. It's amazing that each and every time he lays on the cat he's surprised by her reaction.

Not much to be "blue" about at Theresa's house these days. Congrats to Gibbers on a wonderful well child visit and some healthy winter days! Those blue car victory laps were well deserved.

While the ladies at Mental Inventory are taking the week off, T and I have decided to pick a theme we missed and do "black and white" next week.

Let's just say that they kept eating the phrases I pulled out to use while I was photographing the other one.  :)

While we may miss the sunny days of July, nothing's better than a call early in the morning that tells you to stay home with your kids!  I've always enjoyed these days, though their composition has certainly changed.   Previous year's snow days were filled with stolen trips to the mall and catching up on school work.  This week's snow days were brimming with Nana blankets and living room forts.  As the snow piled up (and I can't believe how it did), we tried our best to stay moasty-toasty (B's new favorite term).  I love that my kids are getting old enough to really enjoy the finer things in life--like hot cocoa.

Wordless Wednesday: Snowmageddon

Did you hear?  It's a blizzard out there.
